# Arsenal: Fans react strangely after moving van is ‘spotted outside Mikel Arteta’s house in Didsbury

**Arsenal fans were offering strange reactions after a moving van was supposedly spotted outside Mikel Arteta’s house up north.**

[In an image posted by @Raffnewaccount](https://twitter.com/raffnewaccount/status/1207590897443123200), a moving van was spotted loading boxes outside the soon-to-be-former Manchester City assistant manager’s house. Indeed, according to the Guardian too, an agreement is [reportedly](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/dec/19/mikel-arteta-to-be-confirmed-as-arsenal-manager-not-take-team-on-saturday-everton) close.

A move to take over the head coach role at the Emirates Stadium looks to be quite close after it was revealed the north London club had cancelled their pre-match press conference today.

The press conference will now be held tomorrow with Arteta likely to be present at the event.

It has also been revealed by the [Evening Standard](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/arsenal-finalising-mikel-arteta-deal-new-manager-everton-match-a4317586.html) that the former Everton man will not be in the dugout for the game against his former side.

Arsenal go into the game at the weekend looking for just their second win in their last 13 games across all competitions [(via WhoScored)](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/13/Fixtures/England-Arsenal).

The picture of the moving van supposedly being outside the Spaniard’s house prompted strange reactions from fans as they took to Twitter to react.

Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:
