# Arsenal: Fans react to Jack Wilshere image

**Senior Arsenal reporter [Chris Wheatley](https://twitter.com/ChrisWheatley_/status/1446005008407875587) shared an image on Twitter of Jack Wilshere watching the club’s Under-23s in Gunners attire.**

And, as to be expected, his post had a number of Arsenal fans talking on social media.

The Gunners [confirmed](https://twitter.com/Arsenal/status/1446040356894674945) on Thursday morning that Wilshere is training with the club while he continues to do his coaching badges.

The 29-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Bournemouth over the summer and will predominantly be around Arsenal’s Under-23 side while occasionally joining in with first-team training under Mikel Arteta until the end of [January](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12428056/jack-wilshere-training-with-arsenal-as-club-show-support-for-former-midfielders-future).

He was present for Arsenal’s Under-23 clash with Bournemouth on Wednesday evening, which ended in a [1-1](https://www.flashscore.co.uk/match/2VZSGUoq/#match-summary) draw.

Defender Zak Swanson appeared to be the match-winner for Arsenal before Christian Saydee equalised for the hosts right at the death.
