# Arsenal: Fans respond to Aubameyang’s impressive record

**Many Arsenal fans are delighted with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after a club fan account tweeted out his goal record.**

A tweet from [@AFTVMedia](https://twitter.com/AFTVMedia/status/1185145497536749569) mentioned how Aubameyang has registered 49 goals in 75 games for Arsenal and is now just one shy of the 50-mark.

The 30-year-old joined Arsenal in January 2018 and has since gone onto be a vital part of this side. In just his first full season at the club, he was able to win the Golden Boot award for the Premier League, scoring 22 goals – the same as Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

So far this season, he has been in similar form. Despite now being [30](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/44120/Show/Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang), his goalscoring is not slowing up. In his eight matches so far this season, he has scored [seven](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/44120/Show/Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang) goals for the Gunners, with a big average rating of 7.15/10, according to [WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/44120/Show/Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang).

Lots of Arsenal fans responded to the post sharing their love for the Gabonese forward.
