# Arsenal: Fans uninterested in David Alaba after comments on potentially moving to the Premier League

**Many Arsenal fans are uninterested in potentially signing David Alaba after the Bayern Munich defender talked about a potential move to the Premier League****.**

[In an interview with The Times](https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/sport/david-alaba-everyone-sees-racism-so-why-is-it-left-to-the-players-to-say-something-t6gwfk76d), the Austrian talked about how he grew up watching the division because he was an Arsenal fan as he hinted about a potential move to the English top-flight, claiming he would ‘see’ about a transfer. Indeed, Alaba will only have a year left on his contract in the summer, meaning he could be available for a decent fee [(via Football.London)](https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/news/david-alaba-arsenal-bayern-munich-17758142).

He hasn’t been featuring consistently for the German champions this season, appearing in 23 games across all competitions, including just three Champions League fixtures [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/david-alaba/leistungsdaten/spieler/59016). The Austria international has suffered two injuries this season including [a pulled hamstring and a bruised rib and has missed games due to personal reasons.](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/david-alaba/leistungsdaten/spieler/59016)

As a result, some Arsenal fans don’t seem to be too keen on signing the player as they reacted to his comments about the north London outfit. Here are some of their reactions:
