# Arsenal: Fans unsure about letting Granit Xhaka leave after agent’s comments

**Arsenal fans have been displaying their uncertainty over letting Granit Xhaka leave the club after quotes from his agent emerged.**

His agent Jose Noguera revealed to [Blick](https://www.blick.ch/sport/fussball/international/premierleague/xhaka-berater-spricht-klartext-granit-will-weg-er-ist-sich-mit-hertha-einig-id15680773.html?__twitter_impression=true) that the Switzerland international has agreed on a deal with Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin.

Noguera also revealed that Xhaka has told Gunners duo [Edu Gaspar and Raul Sanllehi](https://www.blick.ch/sport/fussball/international/premierleague/xhaka-berater-spricht-klartext-granit-will-weg-er-ist-sich-mit-hertha-einig-id15680773.html?__twitter_impression=true) that he would like to leave the club.

The news will come as a bitter disappointment to head coach Mikel Arteta, who prior to the draw against Bournemouth spoke about the importance of the midfielder to the team [(via Sky Sports)](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11670/11895107/granit-xhaka-arsenal-head-coach-mikel-arteta-wanted-man-city-to-sign-midfielder).

Xhaka’s seemingly imminent exit would put a spanner in the works for Arteta as the north London outfit would be left with just Lucas Torreira as their defensive midfielder [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-arsenal/kader/verein/11).

Fans were feeling less than sure about letting Xhaka leave the club mid-season despite his [acrimonious relationship](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50113576) with the supporters as they took to Twitter to react.

Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:
