# Arsenal: Fans would swap Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with Mauro Icardi

**Some Arsenal fans would swap Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi after [Tuttosport](https://www.tuttosport.com/?refresh_ce) (via [Sport Witness](https://twitter.com/Sport_Witness)) suggested that the potential swap deal is possible.**

The upcoming summer transfer window may be one where liquidity is limited given the current financial crisis facing the footballing world at the moment following the pandemic outbreak. As a result, teams may opt for more swap deals, and this may be one that the north London club take if they cannot get ‘Auba’ to sign a new contract.

Comparing the men in their respective domestic leagues this season, the 30-year old has scored more goals than Icardi, who is currently on loan at Paris Saint Germain, as per [Whoscored](https://www.whoscored.com/PlayerComparison). The Gabonese international also averages more shots, key passes and dribbles per game.

Nevertheless, the Gunners may not get the price they would like should they wish to sell their talisman, and there is no guarantee that Icardi would thrive in England.
