Transfer expert Dean Jones says that Arsenal are set to scout Real Betis winger Luiz Henrique ahead of a potential move this summer.

The Lowdown: Europa League rivals

Betis are one of Arsenal's rivals in the UEFA Europa League knockout stages, and are set to play Manchester United over two legs in the last-16.

Arsenal meanwhile will take on Portuguese side Sporting, with the first legs set to commence next week.

The Latest: Henrique scouting plans

Writing for GiveMeSport, Jones says that Arsenal are one of a number of clubs set to watch Henrique play for Betis against United, ahead of potentially making a move for him in the summer.

Both Aston Villa and West Ham United are also thought to be wanting to keep an eye, and could also watch Henrique in action against Real Madrid in La Liga over the weekend.

The Verdict: Exciting talent

At 22 years of age, Henrique is an exciting talent, as journalist Graham Hunter has labelled him as a 'thrilling young winger'.

He has scored three goals and made a further five assists in 30 games in total across competitions so far this season, and is capable of playing anywhere across the frontline (Transfermarkt).

Aside from his attacking threat, Henrique also ranks highly among his positional peers in Europe's top five leagues for a number of key defensive metrics, making him an all-round complete attacking player.

As a Brazilian, Henrique would have no problems settling in at the Emirates Stadium, with the likes of Gabriel, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli already at the club, as well as technical director Edu, so this is a potential deal that they should really think about pursuing this summer.
