Arsenal have personal terms in place over signing Leicester City star Youri Tielemans who is 'sold' on joining the club, according to reports.

The Lowdown: Edu looks to January...

Led by sporting director Edu, the north Londoners are looking to strengthen their current crop ahead of the January transfer window.

Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhalo Mudryk is perhaps the most heavily-linked player with a move to Arsenal right now as the Premier League frontrunners look to clinch their first league title in 19 years.

One player who could be available for a cheap fee next month, or on a Bosman deal later in 2023, is Belgium international Tielemans, and it appears that Arsenal are still very much in the running for his signature.

The Latest: Jacobs shares Tielemans to Arsenal update...

Writing in a Q&A on Twitter, when asked if the midfielder could still make a move to Mikel Arteta's side, CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs explained:

"Arsenal very much appreciate Tielemans. A move still can’t be ruled out. And Tielemans remains sold on a move should they proceed. Long-standing personal terms are in place."

The Verdict: Get it done...

Whether it be on a free transfer or for a cut-price fee in the winter, Arteta could use a player of Tielemans' ilk in his Arsenal side.

The £120,000-per-week star has proven Premier League pedigree, currently ranking as Leicester's third-best performer with three goals and an assist in the top flight (WhoScored).

Also, Tielemans is still just 25, so he could play at the top level for many years to come - a potentially strong pull for Arsenal to try and seal a move for him.
