Arsenal: Gunners plotting Levi Colwill move

Arsenal are reportedly plotting a summer move for Chelsea central defender Levi Colwill, who is currently on loan at Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Lowdown: Impressive season
Colwill is enjoying an impressive season at Brighton, where he had started five Premier League games in a row for them before picking up a nasty injury.
Brighton are currently pushing for European qualification, and the 20-year-old has played his part in that.
The Latest: Arsenal plotting move
As per Football Insider, Arsenal are ‘monitoring’ Colwill’s progress at the Seagulls, and are plotting a move for him when he returns to Stamford Bridge.
They are in the market for a left-sided defender and believe Colwill, who can play as a left-sided centre-back, on the left of a back three or at left-back, fits the bill.
However, they will face competition from fellow top-flight rivals Liverpool for his signature.
The Verdict: Where does that leave Kiwior?
The Gunners signed another left-sided defender in Jakub Kiwior in the January transfer window, but he is yet to make a first-team appearance.
With Gabriel Magalhaes already at the club, it seems strange for them to go for Colwill as well, unless they are thinking more about left-back cover instead, with Kieran Tierney linked with an exit.
Hailed as a ‘Rolls Royce‘ by pundit Anton Ferdinand, Colwill would be an exciting addition, and the North Londoners have history of signing players from Chelsea, with the Jorginho the latest on a list that includes the likes of Petr Cech, David Luiz and Willian.
