Speculation over his future his rife, with reports suggesting both [Manchester City](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3459848/Pep-Guardiola-offer-Mikel-Arteta-coaching-role-Manchester-City-Arsenal-midfielder-retires-end-season.html) and [Tottenham Hotspur](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/04/18/tottenham-want-arsenal-captain-mikel-arteta-to-join-coaching-sta/) are keen on drafting him into their coaching staff.

‘I don’t want to say \[other\] clubs but I have three very different options and I am very proud because it is not common.’
