# Arsenal: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang posts on Instagram following FA Cup win

**Arsenal shocked many as they managed to progress to the FA Cup final after beating Manchester City [2-0](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53460340) at Wembley.**

Mikel Arteta managed the game perfectly and even though Pep Guardiola’s side [dominated](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53460340) the match for large periods, the Gunners being able to keep a clean sheet after losing [3-0](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51601979) to Manchester City in June is a testament to how far they have come in a short period of time.

Captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored [both](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53460340) the goals, and showed why he is so crucial to the club. He clearly enjoyed the victory, as he posted a [picture](https://www.instagram.com/p/CCzGUUHnWnW/) on Instagram of himself celebrating during the match with his team mates, and part of his caption said, ‘That’s a team performance!!!’

This is a great message and supporters will love it as it emphasises the great team spirit in the squad under Arteta, a far cry from late 2019 under Unai Emery where there were reports of a split in the Arsenal dressing room ([Daily Star](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/arsenal-dressing-room-split-unai-20741146)).

The Gunners now face a London rival in the [FA Cup final](https://talksport.com/football/fa-cup/734601/chelsea-manchester-united-david-de-gea-wembley-nightmare-arsenal-fa-cup/) as they will take on Frank Lampard’s Chelsea who beat Manchester United.

If the Spaniard can come away with a trophy in his first season as Arsenal manager, then supporters will be very excited for the future, and understandably so.
