# Arsenal ready to rival European giant for excelling teenager

![arsenallll](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/arsenallll-500x325.jpg?admin)Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are crying out for top quality additions this summer, so the latest name linked to the club isn’t quite making them purr.

[*TalkSport*](https://talksport.com/football/arsenal-transfer-report-gunners-target-wantaway-marseille-youngster-bilal-boutobba)[states](https://talksport.com/football/arsenal-transfer-report-gunners-target-wantaway-marseille-youngster-bilal-boutobba)Arsenal are rivalling La Liga giants Sevilla for the signature of Marseille’s want-away teenager Bilal Boutoubba, who’s rejected a new contract with the Ligue 1 side.

Since making his debut for Marseille at the age of just 16, Boutoubba has found first-team opportunities limited and thus is seeking an exit from the French side. Until now, Sevilla were leading the chase but Arsenal’s interest hands them an issue.

With the player[available on a free transfer this summer](https://talksport.com/football/arsenal-transfer-report-gunners-target-wantaway-marseille-youngster-bilal-boutobba), both Arsenal and Sevilla are expected to make contact with the talented ace and will continue to scout the player. However, whether he’d improve the first-team squad at either side is debatable.
