# Arsenal star looking towards Emirates Stadium exit?

[![Santi Cazorla](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Santi-Cazorla-500x312.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Santi-Cazorla.jpg)Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have been dealt a major blow as they prepare their squad ahead of next season.

According to [Metro](https://metro.co.uk/2014/06/13/santi-cazorla-wants-to-quit-arsenal-for-atletico-madrid-transfer-4761039/), Santi Cazorla has told the Gunners that he wants out as he looks towards a move back home to La Liga.

Apparently the Spanish international midfielder has told family and friends that he craves a return to Spain and had admitted that he would love a move to Champions League finalists Atletico Madrid.

The La Liga winners have been long-term admirers of Cazorla and now have the cash to splash following Diego Costa’s impending move to Chelsea.

That deal means they now have £32 million to spend and Los Colcohoneros boss Diego Simeone could spend a large chunk of that on bringing the 29-year-old former Villarreal and Malaga star to the club.

### **Arsenal fans. Santi Cazorla is easily replaceable, isn’t he? Plus at the age of 29 it’s time to sell, isn’t it? Let us know your thoughts below.**
