# Arsenal star rules out possibility of an exit

[![Queens Park Rangers v Arsenal - Barclays Premier League](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/4571330-500x333.jpg?admin)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/4571330.jpg?admin)Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are relieved to hear that one of their star players has no intentions to vacate North London anytime soon.

Our Gooner regulars were in a gloomy mood yesterday after they were alerted to claims from Spanish media that [Real Madrid wanted to bring Alexis Sanchez back to La Liga](https://www.donbalon.com/noticia/detalle/15087/el-madrid-prepara-el-dinero--y-el-vestuario--para-recibir-a-alexis-sanchez) and [would pay £37m for the privilege.](https://www.donbalon.com/noticia/detalle/15087/el-madrid-prepara-el-dinero--y-el-vestuario--para-recibir-a-alexis-sanchez)

Fortunately for them, Alexis has directly addressed the rumours and said [he doesn’t think about leaving the Premier League side.](https://www.latercera.com/noticia/deportes/2015/10/656-651355-9-alexis-sanchez-no-se-desespera-por-ser-el-goleador-historico-lo-disfrutare-algun.shtml)

> “I’m very happy at Arsenal, I don’t think about leaving. I always want to be the best at everything I do. I’m never happy with what I do, I always want to give more.”

The news is a welcome boost for Arsenal, who have been boosted by Alexis Sanchez recent run of form- where he has scored nine goals in the last five appearances for club and country, which included a hat-trick against Leicester City and a brace against Peru on international duty.

Arsenal fans at the bar believe the Chilean can go on to become a legend at the Emirates and can prove to be the catalyst for a successful Premier League push this season, where Arsene Wenger’s side aim to lift their first league title since 2004.
