[*The Daily Mail*](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3471105/Arsenal-target-Aubameyang-Ighalo-Kante-70m-spree-players-stand-best-chance-signing.html)[have revealed](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3471105/Arsenal-target-Aubameyang-Ighalo-Kante-70m-spree-players-stand-best-chance-signing.html) Arsene Wenger’s targets for the summer transfer window, where the French boss will have £70m to splash on recruiting players capable of improving Arsenal’s talented squad.

On the shortlist are three quality players, with Leicester City’s N’Golo Kante, Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Watford forward Odion Ighalo all being targeted.

Scouts have already been briefed on Arsenal’s transfer plans and Wenger is looking to create a new spine for his team, ahead of [what could be his final season in North London.](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3471105/Arsenal-target-Aubameyang-Ighalo-Kante-70m-spree-players-stand-best-chance-signing.html)

The long-serving French boss marks 20 years at Arsenal this summer but his contract is due to expire at the end of the 2016/17 season, which means the Gunners may find themselves looking for a new manager for the first time in two decades.
