Arsenal are considering suitable offers to sell Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, and Albert Sambi Lokonga this summer according to Sky Sports. The trio find themselves on the fringes of the first team at Arsenal and could be sold to help fund Mikel Arteta’s rebuild.

Midfielders Vieira and Lokonga joined Arsenal as promising youngsters but have so far spent much of their Arsenal careers on loan. Lokonga in particular returns from his third successive loan spell, playing 22 matches for LaLiga side Sevilla last season. He had loan spells at Luton Town and Crystal Palace before then.

Vieira spent last season on loan with his former club Porto, who he originally left in 2022 to join Arsenal. He scored four goals and added four assists in 26 Liga Portugal appearances. He was also ever present in the club’s Europa League campaign, appearing in all nine matches for the club.

Zinchenko’s Arsenal career has been hampered by injuries. He was limited to just 15 Premier League appearances last season and finds himself low on the pecking order behind Jurrien Timber and Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Arsenal trio could depart this summer

Zinchenko and Lokonga are into the final 12 months of their contracts, while Vieira has two years left on his deal. Evaluations for all three players are unconfirmed at this point, but Arsenal won’t be short on suitors.

Zinchenko was the subject of interest from Borussia Dortmund in January but a move never materialized. AC Milan are also known admirers of the veteran defender, and he could prove a useful addition to sides in need of leadership and experience.

Several Premier League sides are known to be keeping tabs on the player as well, namely Fulham and West Ham. With just one year remaining on his deal, he could be available for a cut price fee.

Vieira remains of interest to his boyhood club Porto. With two years remaining on his deal, he has the highest sell on value of the three and Arsenal are rumoured to be willing to do business at around the €20m mark. Italian outfit Parma also understood to be keen admirers, although no formal contacts have been made to Arsenal.

Lokonga is rumoured to be of interest to his former Anderlecht boss Vincent Kompany, who now manages German giants Bayern Munich. Bayern has been rumoured to be interested in a loan move for Lokonga but that has not been substantiated as of late. LaLiga side Atletico Madrid are also known admirers of the player.
