The Egyptian international [arrived](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49058830) at Villa Park last summer after spending time in the Turkish Superlig with Kasimpasa. Making [24 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/trezeguet/leistungsdaten/spieler/234189/saison/2019/plus/1#gesamt) this term for Dean Smith’s side, Trezeguet’s has contributed with [three goals and two assists.](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/trezeguet/leistungsdaten/spieler/234189/saison/2019/plus/1#gesamt)

With Villa’s Premier League status in doubt, sitting [19th in the league](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/premier-league/tabelle/wettbewerb/GB1/saison_id/2019) as things stand, changes could be made this coming summer transfer window.

Despite being at Villa Park for less than a year, the 25-year-old is now being [linked with a return to Turkey with Gala](https://www.fanatik.com.tr/galatasaraya-mbaye-diagneden-kotu-haber-6-milyon-euro-bile-veren-yok-2083753), with whom he has previously had talks whilst playing for Kasimpasa last term.
