# Aston Villa: Fans fume at Manchester United ticket details

**Aston Villa shared specific ticket details ahead of their FA Cup clash with Manchester United in the New Year.**

And, as to be expected, the update from Villa’s [official support Twitter page](https://twitter.com/avfcsupport/status/1471427264906776582?s=21) had a number of fans talking.

Steven Gerrard will get his first taste as a manager at Old Trafford on [Monday, January 10](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/aston-villa-news/aston-villa-fans-react-to-fa-cup-details/) after the two sides were paired together in the third round for the [fifth](https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/fa-cup-third-round-draw-featuring-man-utd-6-december-2021) time in the 21st century.

Home teams are supposed to offer away clubs [15%](https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/manchester-united-fans-fury-at-arsenal-over-their-fa-cup-ticket-allocation) of their stadium capacity for FA Cup matches – meaning Villa could have got up to 10,000 tickets.

However, the club [confirmed](https://twitter.com/avfcsupport/status/1471427264906776582?s=21) that the allocation would be just over 3,000, with adults tickets priced at £30. Those went on sale on Thursday evening, but plenty of supporters were quick to vent their frustration at the update.
