# Aston Villa: Fans react as Dean Smith fumes at Grealish leaks

**Many Aston Villa fans are reacting to the reports that Dean Smith is absolutely furious that Jack Grealish’s injury was leaked days before the clash on Sunday against Leicester City.**

It is a big blow for the club to have their captain out for an unknown period, and he is a crucial member of Dean Smith’s side. Especially as they are planning to to push on and finish in the top half of the Premier League. Journalist Ashley Preece [tweeted](https://twitter.com/PreeceObserver/status/1363535733466816513?s=20): “Dean Smith left fuming with training ground leak surrounding Jack Grealish’s injury.”

Such leaks give opponents a tactical advantage as they can adapt their plans and specifically, Grealish’s absence will likely have given Leicester a huge morale boost as he is so integral to Villa’s attack.

The Englishman has scored six goals and picked up ten assists in the Premier League ([WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/113069/Show/Jack-Grealish)) and this highlights that he has been involved in nearly half of Villa’s goals in the division this campaign as Dean Smith’s side have managed 37 in total.
