# Aston Villa: Fans react as Harry Wilson is free to leave Liverpool this summer

**Many Aston Villa fans [have reacted to a transfer report claiming](https://t.co/PSurWxVdrt?amp=1) Liverpool are willing to allow winger Harry Wilson the chance to move away from Anfield.**

The Welsh international spent one year on loan with Bournemouth last season but suffered relegation to England’s second tier, the Championship.

[Netting seven goals in 31 appearances at the Vitality stadium, Wilson followed up an impressive campaign in the 2018/19 season with Derby County, where he had scored 15 goals in 40 games.](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-wilson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/279455)

Villa, who battled Bournemouth to keep their top-flight status alive, will look to improve this coming term and Dean Smith is seemingly keen to bring in a number of new faces.

Wilson could be one of those, having been [linked](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aston-villa-identify-transfer-alternative-18798832) with a move to Villa Park in the past, and it is now being reported that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp [is ready to allow the youngster to leave on a permanent move](https://t.co/PSurWxVdrt?amp=1), but he will cost around £20m.

Reacting to the transfer claim, Villa fans gave an opinion on his potential summer signing to Villa Park. Many actually seem quite happy about it, suggesting he would be a strong addition given his decent stats from last season. However, some are a little more sceptical and think £20m may be a little excessive, indeed his current [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-wilson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/279455) value is just £15.75m.
