# Aston Villa: Fans react as winger’s agent discusses ‘determining factor’ behind transfer

**The agent of Aston Villa winger Trezeguet has discussed the determining factor behind his clients future this summer after links of a move to Turkey.**

According to various reports of late which initially featured via Turkish newspaper [Takvim](https://www.takvim.com.tr/) (via [Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/club-hold-transfer-talks-aston-villa-player-summer-move/)), Super Lig duo Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have both been showing increasing interest in the Villa attacker.

The Egyptian international [arrived](https://sportwitness.co.uk/club-hold-transfer-talks-aston-villa-player-summer-move/) at Villa Park last summer after spending time in Turkey with Kasimpasa but he has struggled to make an impression.

Making 27 appearances for Dean Smith’s side this season, [the winger has netted just three goals and gained two assists.](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/trezeguet/leistungsdaten/spieler/234189/saison/2019/plus/1#gesamt)

With Premier League football very much in the balance at Midlands side Villa, who sit 19th in the Premier League table, changes could be made this summer depending on which league Smith’s side play in next term, and Trezeguet’s potential exit will very much depend on that.

William D’Avile, Trezeguet’s agent, has now [commented](https://sportwitness.co.uk/loan-offer-agent-says-aston-villa-player-leave-relegated/) on his clients future, claiming the determining factor will be Villa’s top flight status.

> William D’Avila (Trezeguet agent): “We haven’t met with Galatasaray regarding Trezeguet. However, if Villa get relegated, then maybe we can talk. Villa’s situation will be the determining factor.“ \[radyospor\] [#avfc](https://twitter.com/hashtag/avfc?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)

Fans of the Claret and Blue have reacted to those comments via Twitter account @villareport and it seems most would be happy to see him go, perhaps due to his below par displays this term. One even labelled him a ‘BTEC’ Ahmed Elmohamady – another Egyptian at Villa Park but a player who has achieved success there, playing a [key part](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ahmed-elmohamady/leistungsdaten/spieler/66333/plus/0?saison=2018) in promotion from the Championship.

Meanwhile, another simply suggested that Trezeguet had been a “huge disappointment”:

> Jesus. Thank god. Would rather have green all season than that wasteman
