# Aston Villa: Fans react to Grealish transfer update

**Manchester City have emerged as the favourites to sign Aston Villa star Jack Grealish this summer.**

And, as to be expected, the latest rumour has had plenty of Villa supporters talking on social media.

### Grealish valued at £100m

According to the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9375891/Manchester-City-favourites-land-100m-rated-Jack-Grealish-summer.html), Pep Guardiola’s side are at the front of the queue to land the 25-year-old, who is thought to be excited about the possibility of an Etihad switch.

The [report](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9375891/Manchester-City-favourites-land-100m-rated-Jack-Grealish-summer.html) claims that Villa valued Grealish, who has starred this season under Dean Smith, at £100m last summer.

He’s scored [seven goals and has registered 12 assists in 23 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jack-grealish/leistungsdaten/spieler/203460) during the current campaign.

Should a £100m deal go through this summer, Grealish would become the [most-expensive signing by a Premier League side, overtaking Paul Pogba’s £94.5m move to Manchester United](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/premier-league/transferrekorde/wettbewerb/GB1).
