# Aston Villa: Fans react to Monster partnership

**Aston Villa [confirmed](https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2021/august/Villa-announce-partnership-with-Monster-Energy/) on Wednesday that they have partnered with Monster as the club’s new official energy drink partner.**

And, as to be expected, the club update had a lot of Villa fans talking on social media.

Villa’s Premier League rivals Wolves [announced](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/wolves-announce-new-partnership-ahead-21274255) their partnership with the same company just last week, and Villa have now followed suit by agreeing on a [two-year](https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2021/august/Villa-announce-partnership-with-Monster-Energy/) deal.

The energy drink company will [promote](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/wolves-announce-new-partnership-ahead-21274255) their brand at Wolves on LED advertising boards during match days, so they may well end up doing the same at Villa Park as well as engaging with the [club’s global fanbase](https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2021/august/Villa-announce-partnership-with-Monster-Energy/).

Villa fans recently reacted to partnerships with [Luke 1977](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/aston-villa-news/aston-villa-fans-react-to-luke-1977-partnership/) and [Socios](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/aston-villa-news/aston-villa-fans-fume-at-avl-fan-token/), and they were at it again following the club’s latest announcement.
