NSWE have pumped in some serious money at Villa Park following the club’s return to the Premier League, with Villa spending in excess of [£300m](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aston-villa/alletransfers/verein/405) over the past three seasons.

It now seems as if Sawiris and Edens are turning their attention to the MLS, looking to create a [30th](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/las-vegas-villains-aston-villa-22396320) franchise in the States. They are thought to be close to forming *Las Vegas Villains* in a move that will [reportedly](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/las-vegas-villains-aston-villa-22396320) have huge benefits for Villa.

An announcement could be made as early as next year, with the new side possibly joining the MLS in 2024.
