# Aston Villa: Fans react to the latest on summer target Milot Rashica

**Many Aston Villa fans are reacting to the [news](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aston-villa-transfers-milot-rashica-19258818) that one of their summer transfer targets, Milot Rashica, will be allowed to leave his current club Werder Bremen in January.**

The winger had a good campaign in 2019/20 as he picked up eight goals and eight assists in 28 Bundesliga appearances ([WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/289014/Show/Milot-Rashica)). This season tells a different tale so far as he has only started once.

Manager of Werder Bremen, Florian Kohfeldt, has [said of the young forward](https://www.tagesspiegel.de/sport/milot-rashica-wird-immer-wertvoller-werder-bremens-rakete-vor-dem-abflug/25311302.html): ‘Milot has incredible skills. In speed, in goal scoring, in passing.’

Birmingham Live have [reported](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aston-villa-transfers-milot-rashica-19258818) that Rashica could be a January option for Villa if they want to try for the 24 year-old again after their interest in the summer. Upon reporting this update, they have [asked](https://twitter.com/AVFC_News/status/1326454148368363523?s=20) Villa fans whether they still want the club to make a move for the player.

However, it seems like the general consensus is that the player had his chance to [sign in the summer](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aston-villa-transfers-milot-rashica-19258818) if he really wanted to come, so now the fan base are not interested.

### Here is what Villa fans said following the news on Rashica:

> Hell no! He didn’t want to come when we went in for him, he wanted Champions league. [@Trezeguet](https://twitter.com/Trezeguet?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) has been outstanding and I wouldn’t drop him for this guy at all.
