# Aston Villa: Fans stunned by Jack Grealish’s ‘world class’ back heel

**Plenty of [Aston Villa](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league/aston-villa/) supporters were left gobsmacked by skipper Jack Grealish and his moment of brilliance during his side’s [1-0](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54496450) victory against Leicester City last night.**

Ross Barkley’s injury-time strike was the difference between the two sides in what was a cagey 90-minute affair but the visitors ultimately held on to their 100% record and as such, they are keeping pace with Everton at the top of the standings.

However, it was Grealish that fans were talking about after the full-time whistle due to one moment during the second-half that left some of the Villa Park faithful stunned.

The England international [picked up possession](https://twitter.com/leelloyd_/status/1317906739296075779) on the edge of the box, held up the ball and cheekily played a back-heeled pass through two Leicester players to Matt Targett.

Unsurprisingly, supporters salivated over this moment during the game, which comes after England manager Gareth Southgate [opted not to play](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8841333/Gareth-Southgate-defends-decision-not-substitute-Jack-Grealish-against-Denmark.html) the 25-year-old in any of his side’s Nations League matches despite the Villa captain [impressing](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54366319) against Wales.

### Fans overjoyed by a moment of brilliance from Grealish

> Class on his own. Deserved a better cross for a finish though.
