According to a report by journalist David Ornstein of the Athletic, Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa is being considered for an international call-up by both England and Portugal - with the 23-year-old eligible for either as Villans flock to this claim.

Konsa, who has been in form for Dean Smith's side this season as reports continue over potentially extending his contract, is now also attracting interest internationally as both England and Portugal eye possible call-ups for the youngster.

Indeed, he is eligible to feature for both nations with a potential decision on the horizon, but the fact he is being acknowledged at the very top level is music to some supporters' ears.

Lauding his form as 'outstanding' and 'excellent' this season, plenty of Villa supporters flocked to have their say on the 'brilliant news'.
