Many Aston Villa fans were not happy with Matty Cash for one reoccurring thing during his performance against Chelsea in his side's 1-1 draw on Monday.
The £10.80m valued defender, who signed from Nottingham Forest in the summer, has settled in well during his first season in England's top flight but many Villa fans felt like a lot of Chelsea's attack came down his flank and that he was exposed. This was a consistent problem and it was proven as Chelsea's goal came from a cross from his side.
It is hard to contain the Blues with their overlapping full-backs, and Bertrand Traore perhaps needed to do a lot more to help the right-back out as he was getting targeted.
However, the Englishman's performance was maybe not as bad as some fans think if you look at his statistics. He picked up a 7.6 rating, which was the highest out of the Villa players (SofaScore). He also made six clearances, made two interceptions and three tackles.
It looks like the fact that Cash could not stop the crosses was overclouding some fas opinions of him during the match, but this is something he can work on going forwards.
Here is how Villa fans reacted to his Cash and his performance:

"Even first 30 mins but Chelsea have real quality in the wide positions and Traore left Cash exposed there on the overlap. 1-0 down and now need to dig in deep. #avfc"

"Good point that, when you consider Chelsea have the squad to change 6 players. We need to look at tweaking things to help out our fullbacks against better sides, Cash was exposed all game, although this isn't a game to judge it on given the quick turnaround. United next. #AVFC"

"Cash looks so comfortable in the Prem, but if he truly wants to reach the top of his game, he needs to find a way to do more at stopping crosses into the box. #AVFC"

"#avfc Cash needs more help, I’d swap Ghaz and Traore over. Another benefit of that would be both playing on the correct wings, so rather than cutting in, they could whip crosses in for Watkins which is what he wants/needs."

"All the negatively. That was a superb performance and point tonight. McGinn and Targett both outstanding. My only criticism is why we let Chillwell have as much tims as he wanted with Cash sitting in, it nearly cost us. That said what a great point. #FearNoTeam #avfc"
