Fans of Aston Villa have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which the Villa goalkeeper, Emiliano Martinez, reflected on the club's recent Premier League fixture.
Since joining Villa from Arsenal last summer, Martinez has highly impressed over his 27 Premier League appearances for Dean Smith's side, conceding 28 goals and keeping 14 clean sheets, as well as making 98 saves at an average of 3.6 per game and averaging a SofaScore match rating of 7.26 - ranking him as the club's second-best performer in the top flight.
However, following Villa's disappointing draw with relegation-threatened Newcastle United last weekend, with the Magpies scoring a 94th-minute equaliser, the £47,000 per week shot-stopper took to Twitter, stating his belief that "the comeback is always stronger than the setback," as well as sharing a picture of himself looking disheartened after Newcastle's goal.
