Plenty of Aston Villa fans have been reacting to Neil Taylor’s message to supporters on social media.

It was announced on Friday afternoon that the left-back, along with Ahmed Elmohamady and Tom Heaton, will leave the club when their deals expire next month.

Taylor was the longest serving Villa player out of the three, joining in January 2017 from Swansea City.

He went on to make over 100 appearances for Villa, helping them back to the Premier League in 2018/19.

The Welshman only made one Premier League appearance in the 2020/21 campaign, though, with Matt Targett starting every league fixture under Dean Smith.

Taylor sent a message to Villa fans after his departure was confirmed, with Villa sharing it on their official Twitter page. The 32-year-old’s message in full is available to view here.
