Many Aston Villa fans are reacting following the latest reports from the Telegraph which suggest that Jack Grealish could start for England against Belgium.
This is due to the fact that Raheem Sterling is an injury concern for the Three Lions. Many supporters are happy that the Villa captain could start, but others seem worried as they want Grealish to avoid any injuries himself.
The attacking midfielder has had a great campaign so far in the Premier League to help Villa to sixth place in the division after eight games. The Englishman has scored four goals and picked up five assists (WhoScored). He has also managed on average 3.1 shots, 2.7 key passes and 2.9 successful dribbles a game.
Grealish has received praise from many in the footballing world, including Brendan Rogders, who said: “He’s a marvellous player and one of a number of players with England that are very talented.”
The Villa captain picked up an assist against Ireland in England’s friendly win during the week, and if he continues his good form against Belgium, there will hopefully be more competitive starts for his country in the future.
Here is how Villa fans have reacted to the update on Grealish:

It’s a shame that the England manager doesn’t see that Jack in the best English player by a mile.
But better for Villa if he doesn’t play regularly for England- less risk of injury

He should be starting ahead of him anyway.

Bit concerning he might not’ve started if it wasn’t for an injury https://t.co/65fbEf9LxC
