Galatasaray defender Christian Luyindama has got plenty of Aston Villa fans talking after being linked with a summer move to Villa Park.
The 26-year-old centre-back joined Gala last January on loan before completing a permanent move from Standard Liege.
Despite his impressions during his loan spell, the DR Congo international has struggled to find consistent playing time, featuring just 10 appearances this term in the league.
Joining Villa with interest in the defender are said to be Premier League rivals Everton with Belgian news outlet Voetbalkrant reporting the Merseysiders could make a move.
Twitter account @Total_Villa relayed the report and asked Claret and Blue fans for their opinion on a potential move.
Some of those fans seemed happy that the former Standard Liege man was linked with the club, perhaps taking into account the fact he averages a huge 3.8 clearances per game (WhoScored).

However, joining those positive Villa fans were some who had negative reviews of the defender after watching a highlight package shared by the fan account. One even labelled him a liability, indeed he has made two errors leading to a shot and one to a goal (SofaScore).

Finally, some Villa fans called for the club to make a move for former defender Axel Tuanzebe instead, who spent a successful one-and-a-half year loan spell at the club from Premier League rivals Manchester United.

Villa, who sit 19th in the Premier League table as things stand, will look to hold on to their top-flight status before making any potential summer moves for players.
Dean Smith’s side will return to action on June 17 as they face Sheffield United, which is their game in hand over the rest of the relegation threatened sides.
