Aston Villa have been linked with a move for former Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli in recent days.

And plenty of Villa supporters have had their say on a possible move for the shot-stopper on social media.

According to The Daily Mail, Villa have moved for the 29-year-old, who is currently a free agent. The report suggests that both Arsenal and Chelsea are also tracking Bettinelli, who was called up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad back in the 2017/18 campaign.

Bettinelli spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough and is viewed as competition for Emiliano Martinez and Jed Steer at Villa Park.

The former Fulham man made 120 appearances for the Cottagers, keeping 31 clean sheets, one of which came against Villa in the Championship playoff final at Wembley in 2018.
