Aston Villa: Fans react to Samatta’s potential summer exit

Many Aston Villa fans have reacted to a report linking striker Mbwana Samatta with a summer exit despite only arriving in January.
The Tanzanian striker arrived at Villa Park during the January transfer window for a transfer fee of £9.45 million as Villa boss Dean Smith opted to bring in a player to replace Brazilian striker Wesley, who was ruled out injured.
One goal in 12 Premier League appearances has seen Samatta’s time at the club fail to impress and with the club’s top-flight status in jeopardy, a report has linked the 27-year-old with a summer exit.
Birmingham LIVE cite a report from Turkish newspaper Takvim, who claim that Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are showing interest in making a move.
Arguably Samatta’s best moment in a Claret and Blue shirt came when Villa lost to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final, netting the Midlands’ based side’s only goal in a 2-1 defeat.
Reacting to a report linking Samatta with an early exit from Villa, fans seemed happy at his potential departure with one calling him “awful.”
This is likely because of his poor record in front of goal since his arrival…
See ya , people gave Wesley a hard time, but he offers more than Samatta long term.

I’ll pack his bags. Weak, lack of movement and no killer instinct. Not good enough for the Prem IMO
