**Andre Villas-Boas must sell England and Chelsea captain John Terry if he wants to regain control of the Chelsea dressing room, according to movie star and former Chelsea hardman Vinnie Jones.**

The 46-year-old former footballer believes the once highly inspirational and influential Terry doesn’t have the same bearings on the team and should be relieved as a Chelsea player for sake of the team. Terry has struggled on an off the pitch in recent times and has hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to Liverpool was their third defeat in four games which has made it the worse possible start to a season since the Russian billionaire bought the club. In addition it was the first time the Blues have lost back-to-back league matches at Stamford Bridge in nine-and-a-half-years.

Jones said:

> ***“I wouldn’t be surprised if JT moves on. Sometimes you’ve got to clear the decks***
>
> ***“You think, ‘How can you leave someone like JT out?’ “But sometimes your big, high-profile players go and other players come in and, suddenly, the coach is in charge again.***”
