# Barcelona: Fans react to Arthur and De Jong video

**Frenkie de Jong has began life in Spain promisingly following his [£67.5m](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/frenkie-de-jong/profil/spieler/326330) move from Ajax in the summer.**

On Saturday, the young Dutchman scored his [first goal and registered his first assist](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/frenkie-de-jong/leistungsdaten/spieler/326330) for the Catalans during a 5-2 demolition job on Valencia at the Camp Nou.

The 21-year-old’s performances for Ajax last term earned him [plaudits](https://totalfootballanalysis.com/player-analysis/frenkie-de-jong-ajax-amsterdam-tactical-analysis) from around the globe, and this season he just continues to impress.

According to [WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/279423/Show/Frenkie-de-Jong), the Netherlands international has averaged 1.8 tackles, 1.3 key passes, 1.5 dribbles and, most astonishingly of all, a pass completion rate of 95.3% – [more than any other starter in La Liga so far this season](https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/206/Tournaments/4/Seasons/7889/Stages/17702/PlayerStatistics/Spain-LaLiga-2019-2020).

De Jong’s talent seemingly has no end, and should he continue to achieve those extremely impressive statistics, it will surely only be a matter of time before the 21-year-old is nominated for the coveted Ballon d’Or award.

On Saturday, prior to Barca’s clash against Valencia, the Dutchman showed off his tricks with fellow midfielder Arthur, and it’s caused a storm with fans on Twitter…
