# ‘Better than Paul Pogba’ – Most Arsenal fans can’t wait to get this signing over the line

**The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been demanding that their club get the signing of Lucas Torreira completed as the excitement ahead of the new season continues to grow.**

Unai Emery has been doing a top job in his short time as Arsenal boss and considering that he’s already got three brilliant signings over the line it’s easy for the fans to get carried away and start demanding that other deals get completed. Next up though, it does look very much like Lucas Torreira will soon be a Gunner, with only his inclusion in the Uruguayan World Cup squad holding up the deal.

Most Arsenal fans are confident ahead of the new season and will be hoping that Emery can mastermind a return to the Champions League for the club as they’ve now missed out for two seasons in a row. The main issue for Arsenal over the last two seasons has been their incredible ability to concede a goal from anywhere, and with Torreira in the team next season, strafing along the midfield in front of the back-four, it’s unlikely that the club will ship as many goals.

With that in mind, here are our local Gunners’ thoughts on who their club should next:

As you can see, the Gunners in the Tavern cannot wait to finally secure the signing of Torreira this summer.
