# Birmingham City: These fans are excited for Jude Bellingham after his first Blues goal

**Many kids grow up hoping to score at the ground they watch their team at and Jude Bellingham was no different.**

So when he secured a win for Birmingham City in his first-ever appearance at St. Andrew’s, it was safe to say he was pretty happy about it.

The pictures he posted of the moment following Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Stoke City showed just how delighted he was:

> Over the moon to score the winner on my home debut, even better than how I dreamt it. Thanks to all my team mates and of course the amazing fans. Hungry for more.[#KRO](https://twitter.com/hashtag/KRO?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) #22 [@bcfc](https://twitter.com/BCFC?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [pic.twitter.com/puxOPremso](https://t.co/puxOPremso)

It turns out there were plenty of bluenoses who were also over the moon for the 16-year-old following his monumental moment.

This was his third appearance for the club he supported as a kid, having made his debut in the 3-0 Carabao Cup loss against Portsmouth, before coming on for the final 14 minutes of Blues’ 3-0 defeat to Swansea City, both of which were away, as per [**Transfermarkt**](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jude-bellingham/leistungsdaten/spieler/581678).

Bellingham’s goal is another indicator that he can be an exciting prospect for Blues, with his performance being the only positive for Birmingham on his debut against Portsmouth, as indicated by [**The Birmingham Mail’s ratings**](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/birmingham-city-fc-player-ratings-16711571) for that match, where the 16-year-old’s 7.5 was the best they gave any player.

A selection of Twitter reaction to the goal, including posts from delighted Birmingham fans, can be seen below:

> You’ve just lived my dream when I was a kid…. felt very emotion with you there! Brilliant Jude! [#KRO](https://twitter.com/hashtag/KRO?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)
