# Birmingham: Clotet calls for unity and fans aren’t convinced

**Birmingham City are scratching around for results at the moment and fans will be hoping that their side is going to get things going in the right direction sooner rather than later in the Sky Bet Championship.**

The Blues have some decent players in their side but performances have not been good enough in recent weeks and they are slowly drifting towards the relegation fight which is looking very feisty right now.

Losing to Wigan on Wednesday will have sent a message to plenty connected with the men from St. Andrew’s and now as the January window opens for business, the club needs to look at trying to improve things.

Pep Clotet has called for unity, too, in order to try and get them out of this slump, with him quoted on Twitter as saying:

> 🎥 Pep Clotet maintains he has "total belief" in his players to bring a tough run of results to an end.
>
> 🗣 "In a bad moment is when a Club needs to be strong and find unity"

Fans, though, are far from convinced by his words and it seems as though the tide is beginning to turn for the worse on the current Blues boss:

> None of the fans have confidence in him or anything we are seeing? Even though we know hes not pulling the strings he simply can not carry on without the backing of the fans! The bad vibes are already heading towards the players from the stands…. Harlee Dean for example!

> Pep reckons the fans will be united with him \
> Did he go stone deaf at the end of the game yesterday 🤦🏻💙
