# Brighton & Hove Albion: Predicted XI to face Leicester

**Buoyed by their dramatic late win over Arsenal on Saturday, Brighton will hope to take another step closer to Premier League safety as they take on Leicester this evening.**

The Seagulls travel to the King Power Stadium with a [five-point cushion](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) from the relegation zone and were the only team in the bottom six to [win at the weekend](https://www.premierleague.com/results). However, today’s trip to a Foxes team in third place promises to be a very challenging one for Graham Potter’s side.

The manager at least has almost his entire squad at his disposal for the game at Leicester. Jose Izquierdo is the [only confirmed absentee](https://www.premierinjuries.com/injury-table.php), although [Steven Alzate](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/brighton-transfer-rumours/steven-alzate-profile/) remains a doubt as he [continues to await minor groin surgery](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/18531990.steven-alzate-alireza-jahanbakhsh-frame-albion/).

Potter [reverted to a 4-2-3-1 formation](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/brighton-amp-hove-albion/spielplandatum/verein/1237) on Saturday and, with that setup bringing him success, he could well choose to stick with it and make just [a couple of changes](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3219144) to freshen up his starting XI. Here is our prediction for Brighton’s line-up this evening:

![Brighton predicted XI v Leicester](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Brighton-predicted-XI-v-Leicester.png)

**Mat Ryan** will continue in between the sticks and it seems most likely that three of the back four will consist of **Dan Burn**, **Lewis Dunk** and **Adam Webster**. Potter brought **Ezequiel Schelotto** [into the team](https://www.skysports.com/football/brighton-vs-arsenal/408273) on Saturday and a decent performance by the Italian in [keeping Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang quiet](https://www.skysports.com/football/brighton-vs-arsenal/408273) could see him continue at right-back. However, it would be no great surprise if Martin Montoya was restored to the line-up after [only playing the final 20 minutes](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3219144) against the Gunners.

**Davy Propper** will likely continue as one of the two holding midfielders, although **Aaron Mooy** could be moved back alongside him, with [The Argus](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/18531990.steven-alzate-alireza-jahanbakhsh-frame-albion/) noting that Yves Bissouma was visibly tiring by the time he was withdrawn on Saturday. Therefore, the Malian could be held in reserve for today’s clash.

Mooy’s potential positional switch could see **Leandro Trossard** revert to the left wing from the [central role he occupied](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3219144) at the weekend and the number 10 vacancy could be filled by the man who wears that number. [**Alexis Mac Allister**](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/brighton-transfer-rumours/alexis-mac-allister-profile/) may only have had a [cameo appearance](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3219144) on Saturday but he was still [involved in the winning goal](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/18531224.neal-maupay-albion-arsenal/) and drew [praise from numerous Seagulls fans](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/brighton-news/brighton-fans-praise-alexis-mac-allister-impact-arsenal/) for his brief yet telling contribution. His reward could be a first Premier League start today.

There may also be a change on the right flank with **Solly March** potentially coming in for Pascal Gross, who [played for 70 minutes](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3219144) at the weekend. Up top, Saturday’s [match winner](https://www.skysports.com/football/brighton-vs-arsenal/408273) **Neal Maupay** looks set to keep his place as he seeks just one more goal to [reach double figures](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/neal-maupay/leistungsdaten/spieler/217115) for his [debut Premier League season](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/neal-maupay/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/217115). Don’t rule out [Aaron Connolly](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/brighton-transfer-rumours/aaron-connolly-profile/) featuring in some capacity, either, after he [set up the Frenchman](https://www.skysports.com/football/brighton-vs-arsenal/408273) for the stoppage time winner three days ago.

***Brighton fans, do you think this will be the line-up selected by Potter this evening or would you make some changes to it? Have your say by commenting below!***
