# Brighton & Hove Albion: Predicted XI to face Manchester United

**Brighton hope to take [another step towards Premier League survival](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table) tonight when they welcome Manchester United to the Amex Stadium.**

It’s a fixture which holds happy memories for the Seagulls, who have [beaten the Red Devils on their last two visits to Falmer](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/brighton-amp-hove-albion/bilanzdetail/verein/1237/wettbewerb_id/GB1/gegner_id/985/saison_id//heim_gast/heim/datum_von/-/datum_bis/-/day/0/land_id/0), including the 1-0 win which [ensured their top-flight safety](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43916611) back in May 2018.

Graham Potter’s side go into the match off the back of impressive results [against Arsenal and Leicester](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/brighton-amp-hove-albion/spielplandatum/verein/1237), although the visitors have [won their last two matches](https://www.skysports.com/manchester-united-results) and are in the [hunt for Champions League qualification](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table).

Jose Izquierdo remains sidelined for Brighton, who could also be without Adam Webster after the defender injured his hamstring against the Foxes last week (as per [Brighton & Hove Independent](https://www.brightonandhoveindependent.co.uk/sport/football/brighton-and-hove-albion/brighton-hove-albion-vs-manchester-united-tv-whats-team-news-line-ups-and-odds-2897592)). [Steven Alzate](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/brighton-transfer-rumours/steven-alzate-profile/) is [also doubtful](https://www.premierinjuries.com/injury-table.php) for tonight’s clash.

Football Transfer Tavern predicts the Seagulls’ line-up for the game, which shows three changes from the team that [started the 0-0 draw at Leicester](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3219160).

**Mat Ryan** will be between the sticks [as per usual](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/211/Show/England-Brighton), although there could be a change in the centre-back partnership ahead of him. If Webster isn’t fit enough for tonight, **Shane Duffy** looks set to come in alongside **Lewis Dunk**. **Dan Burn** should line out at left-back again while the [impressive performance](https://www.skysports.com/football/leicester-vs-brighton/408283) of **Tariq Lamptey** on the other flank against Leicester should see him keep his place, despite him picking up a [minor facial injury](https://www.premierinjuries.com/injury-table.php) during that encounter.

Potter [fielded a 4-4-2](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3219160) at the King Power Stadium and might stick with that formation again, albeit with a couple of changes in midfield. [Alexis Mac Allister](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/brighton-transfer-rumours/alexis-mac-allister-profile/) started against the Foxes but could make way for **Leandro Trossard**, while **Pascal Gross**, who [scored in both Premier League wins over Manchester United](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/pascal-gross/bilanzdetails/spieler/82873/gegner/985), might get the nod instead of Yves Bissouma. The German comes in alongside **Dale Stephens** in the middle of the park while **Aaron Mooy** looks good for another start on the right-hand side.

In attack, Brighton’s [top scorer](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/brighton-amp-hove-albion/leistungsdaten/verein/1237) **Neal Maupay** will surely start, while [**Aaron Connolly**](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/brighton-transfer-rumours/aaron-connolly-profile/) played well enough at Leicester a week ago ([one shot on target](https://www.sofascore.com/leicester-city-brighton-and-hove-albion/FsG) and [winning an early penalty](https://www.skysports.com/football/leicester-vs-brighton/408283)) to deserve another start here, even if he hasn’t scored in the league [since October](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/aaron-connolly/leistungsdaten/spieler/434207).
