# Wolves: Fans buzz over Bruno Lage comments

**Many Wolves fans have been left buzzing as some comments emerged from Bruno Lage ahead of their game away at Crystal Palace in the Premier League.**

Speaking in his pre-game press conference ahead of the match against the Eagles, the Portuguese manager said (via [Liam Keen](https://twitter.com/LiamKeen_Star/status/1456613147356303362)) when asked about whether players are fine with missing out on games: “I don’t care if they understand or not, it’s my way to work. If you have a mistake or bad performance, another guy is working for his chance.”

Lage left out the likes of Willy Boly and Adama Traore last time out in their 2-1 win at home to Everton on Monday night ([BBC](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59033038)), and it is certainly refreshing to hear that he is already stamping his authority on the team having only taken over from Nuno Espirito Santo this summer.

His methods certainly seem to be paying off, as the Midlands club currently find themselves in [seventh](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/table) spot in the top-flight table and on a fantastic run of form.
