# Wolves: Fans fume over Bruno Lage admission

**Many Wolves fans have been left fuming over one of Bruno Lage’s recent admissions.**

Speaking in his pre-game press conference ahead of his team’s home match against Tottenham Hotspur at Molineux this afternoon, the manager admitted (via [Tim Spiers on Twitter](https://twitter.com/TimSpiers/status/1428689977693675520)): “For now we’re training with 15 professional players.”

Having recently let Owen Otasowie go on a [permanent](https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/first-team/20210819-otasowie-makes-wolves-exit/#) deal, Lage’s squad is now becoming increasingly threadbare, with no signs yet of it being bolstered up with less than two weeks to go until the summer transfer window closes.

Considering that the Midlands club can name 20 players in their squad for matchdays, it seems as if it will be a real struggle to do so without having to name a few youngsters on the bench, so it is no surprise to see numerous Wolves supporters fuming that the club have not brought in more players.
