Bayern Munich: Fans breathe sigh of relief as Robert Lewandowski bags again

Many Bayern Munich fans breathed a sigh of relief when Robert Lewandowski managed to put them ahead in their 2-0 win over Olympiacos.

The German champions had to wait until the 69th minute before they were able to break the deadlock against Olympiacos after a timid first half.

This season, the Polish forward has now amounted a mammoth 21 goals in 17 games for Bayern Munich (per Bleacher Report).

Munich were able to keep a clean sheet at home to make sure that they have won every single one of their Champions League games so far this season, meaning that they now just need one more point to go through the group as the top seed (Flashscore).

Inter Milan loanee Ivan Perisic then secured the win for Bayern with just a minute to go by whacking a shot that looked harder to miss from just a couple of yards out.

Before that though, there were plenty of Bayern fans who had the time to thank Lewandowski for – once again – doing what he does best.
