The Premier League may still be another month away but Burnley’s social media team continue to be busy with posting content on their Instagram feed.
On Wednesday, the Clarets’ official account on the social platform (@burnleyofficial) featured an image of Josh Brownhill spraying Jack Cork and Matej Vydra with water during a match from last season, with the caption: “Anyone else need hosing down in this English heat?!”.

However, many fans had something other than the weather on their minds when they issued their replies to the club’s Instagram post. Instead, plenty of Clarets supporters flocked to the comments section to demand answers as to when Burnley would officially confirm their new kits for the 2020/21 season – although one user alluded to the weather in their response when saying: “A kit release would cool me down”.

A number of Premier League clubs have already unveiled their new shirts for the upcoming campaign, although the Clarets are yet to do so (as per Sky Sports). Lancashire Live, with the assistance of Request A Kit, whetted the appetite of the Turf Moor faithful by publishing concept home and away kits to get a feel for the designs that Sean Dyche’s men could be wearing next season.
Burnley enjoyed a top 10 finish last term and locally-based fans have been granted the pleasure of glorious weather in recent days, yet the desire among many supporters for the club to officially unveil their 2020/21 kits has been made clear to the Clarets’ social media team.
