Although the youngster has only been used [once](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/nathan-patterson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/424015/plus/0?saison=2021&verein=29&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=) by Frank Lampard, he has received [glowing reviews](https://www.footballinsider247.com/everton-tipped-to-complete-patterson-signing-after-rangers-twist-pundit/) from his time at Glasgow Rangers, and he is a full Scotland international at just 20 years of age.

Nonetheless, many Toffees fans will be [excited](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/everton-fc-news/transfer-news-nathan-patterson-rangers-premier-league/) to see what he can do, but they will now have to wait until next term in what is a bitter setback for both the player and the club.
