# Everton: Dominic Calvert-Lewin benched in England defeat

### CALVERT-LEWIN HAS BEEN IN FANTASTIC FORM FOR EVERTON

### SOUTHGATE SHOULD HAVE KEPT HIS FAITH IN CALVERT-LEWIN

Indeed, if Southgate started Calvert-Lewin, the striker would have had more time to make an impact in the match. Full of confidence after his great start to the season, he was probably a better option to start up top than Kane, who was perhaps not fully fit.
