The reliable reporter said that Leeds will battle Liverpool for the right-back’s services, with insiders believing that a fee could be agreed ‘this week’.

Nixon shared information from ‘sources close to the player’, who ‘expect him to be allowed to talk to both clubs to discuss their plans before taking his pick’.

The Whites could be looking to persuade Ramsay over a move to Elland Road instead of Anfield, and you’d like to think they’ll have a real chance of securing the youngster’s services.
