# Celtic: Cameron Carter-Vickers deal ‘expected’ to go through

This comes following a report from [SBI Soccer](https://sbisoccer.com/2022/04/source-celtic-in-advanced-talks-for-cameron-carter-vickers-transfer) claiming that the Hoops had held advanced talks over the last week with Tottenham regarding the future of the 24-year-old.

Despite claims of interest from Wolves, Leicester City, and Watford, Celtic appear to remain in the hot seat to sign the USA international, with the American source detailing a £6m initial fee which could rise to £10m.
