### The Verdict: Move surely close

Should this be true, it surely suggests that Scott is close to agreeing a move to Celtic, in what would be an exciting piece of business by the club.

At 19, the German would very much be viewed as a long-term acquisition by the Hoops but one who could also come in and be a handy squad player from the off.

Scott has made [two appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/christopher-scott/alletore/spieler/503162) for Bayern’s first team which is no mean feat, given the world-class quality in their squad, and he also has three caps to his name for Germany’s Under-20s.
